Warm Into Next Week...

Today was our 9th straight day above normal/average after beginning the month with 12 days below normal. We were cold due to an east coast trough and now we have been warm due to that trough being over the west coast with a ridge over most of the SE. Until that pattern changes, fronts will stagger down close to us, but have difficulty pushing through. That means we'll stay with warm days and foggy nights into the weekend. This weekend is the beginning of the bigger Mardi Gras parades and it appears no rain will threaten any of them. Too soon to think about the following weekend and Mardi Gras itself. My gut tells me the cold will return sometime next week and the weekend of the Super Krewes could be chilly. Stay tuned!

Snowing again up north. He-He.
