Stormy April Continues...For Some.

We had 3 severe weather episodes back in late Feb. & March, but recently the storm track shifted northward and it's bringing violent weather repeatedly to the same areas from Texas to Pennsylvania. We haven't even had any rain for 3 weeks, but that may change on Wednesday as a cold front should sweep through. It appears the strongest of storms will remain well to our north, but hopefully we'll get enough shower activity to drench our gardens. The good news is much drier air will follow the front meaning the 1st weekend of JazzFest & the Zurich Golf Classic and the Kids Zoo-To-Do should not have weather problems. Let the good times roll !

I think this tiny thunderstorm line that moved through this am just popped up out of nowhere! Wasn't on radar last night. Developed into early morning hours. Bet they were forecasting it on the early morning news, get up earlier Anonymous! Have a nice day :)

Yep, the "no major changes" sure didn't work out. Last night's model runs dissipated the line of heavy storms BEFORE they moved into LA. Even this morning's run didn't initialize it. Line stayed strong thru BTR and across N-shore. Finally fell apart this past hour with very little rainfall across the S-shore. Front not coming until Wed. PM. More storms then?

yeah storms always just "pop" out of nowhere without any prior indications... So I should get up very early every morning because I need to double check the 24hr or less forecast to make sure of no major changes made from just the night before?

Bob.. On a different note, what's your opinion on the spillway being opened up? Are they going to open it in your opinion? I think they will.
