Storms Leave, Good Feel Air Returns...

The deeper we get into May usually finds us more and more humid with daily highs flirting with or topping 90+ degrees. We've seen that already this month with 7 of the 1st 13 days being 88 or 89 for highs. Don't despair yet as Mother Nature will bring down some natural air conditioning this weekend into early next week. A deep east coast trough will sweep a cold front thru us this evening and keep the dry air over us for the next 5-7 days. Night time lows by Sunday will be in the 50s N-Shore with some 50s possible S-Shore by Monday & Tuesday. Highs will be upper 70s as opposed to near 90. Enjoy, since you know what's coming in the days ahead.

Wonder how long it will take for those that flooded to once again blame the gov't?

Looks like we are going to be getting back into a dry, hot pattern. Bob, can you please tell us there is a light at the end of the tunnel? Maybe a chance at some scattered summertime convection coming soon? I don't like this really dry weather.
