1/3 Through Meteorological Summer...

With June in the books, we approach the real heart of summer...July & August. At least we know September starts to bring us weak cool fronts so we have to grin & bear it for the next 10-12 weeks. Today saw a few showers but coverage was less than 20%. An upper ridge is keeping us mostly dry and that pattern will continue thru Sunday. It appears by Monday (4th) the easterlies will return bringing back deeper tropical moisture and increased rain chances. Until then, ya gotta keep water dem plants gang. Use caution when working outdoor during the heat of the day. Stay hydrated!
