Daily Showers are back...

I'll be back on-air tomorrow after spending 4 wonderful days at the beach east of Destin. Hummm...computer models were hinting about something developing in the Caribbean before I left. I was bashed for stating my opinion regarding that. Geez, another week and models are still trying to develop something. Sooner or later they will be right.

In the short term, it appears the upper high that has caused all the record heat is shifting farther to the west allowing for daytime heating to break thru the cap and trigger some strong T-Storms. If that trend continues we should see slightly less hot highs(89-93) as rain coverage increases. The dry pattern covers all of the Gulf coast over to NW Florida and they need rain there too just like us. Hopefully our daily PM showers will kick in for the rest of this week.

I think the grass grew an inch after the rain yesterday.

Ok, the rain is well needed. Hopefully it will help to keep those afternoon temps at bay! Everyone by now should have their hurricane plans in place and emergency supplies packed and ready to go! The Pacific system reminds me that it's nearly that time in our part of the world! All eyes on the Carribean.
