More Drought Busters Coming...

Our current wet pattern shows no signs of letting up as several more upper disturbances are on track for Louisiana. A deep east coast trough has brought a cold front into the Deep South. That coupled with disturbances rotating around an upper ridge over Texas will keep our rain chances high thru Sunday. There are hints of a weak circulation centered over south AL/FL/GA moving westward tonight. We'll be watching that in case it settles farther southward over the waters of the northern Gulf. Regardless, more heavy downpours are likely until the upper high builds back over us later next week.

The tropics remain quiet as wind shear is still quite strong.

Today's storms limited my golf game to 9 holes, however, one of those was my first "ace" (hole in one) on # 7 at Chateau from 115 yeards with a 9 iron. My witness was J.L. Vangilder, the official scorer for the New Orleans Zephyrs. Now to break 80 again !

How cool is that?! Congrats BOB on the ace...but then when it comes to your forecasts, you always hit a hole in one!
