More Rain Coming...Flood Watch South

After a stormy afternoon that drenched some neighborhoods with 2-3" of rain, another cluster of storms is approaching from the west. NWS has placed areas south of Lake Pontchartain under a Flash Flood Watch until 7am. Computer models weaken this cluster over night, but redevelop more storms during daytime heating on Tuesday. Drier air filters in behind a weak cold front for Wednesday & Thursday before another, stronger front arrives Friday night into Saturday morning. Look for more storms with that front with much cooler air Saturday PM into Monday. This will be the coldest air since early March with 40s likely on the N-Shore Sunday & Monday. A major east coast storm will develop snarling travel plans up to the Northeast this weekend.
