Cold Front Will Bring Drier Air...

Cold fronts in May usually struggle to push down into the Gulf, but tonight's models continue to show this one will make it.  No it won't be back to sweaters & jackets, those days are long gone. But the drier air will allow the nights to cool into the 50s on the North Shore & 60s away from Lake P. South.  The question tonight is how much rain will come with the front?  Again, models are showing less than 1/2 inch.  Certainly not like 17 years ago when a front stalled right on us drenching the South Shore with over a foot of rain flooding many homes & businesses.  It was the greatest non-tropical weather disaster ($3.1 billion) in recorded history with 44,000+ homes flooded.  No hints of that tonight.

I downloaded the Fox 8 Mobile app today. The weather radar screen shows West Virginia. As they say, "what's up with that?"
