Flood Watch For Saturday...

It still looks like Saturday will be stormy at times with the potential for 1-3" of rainfall across SE LA/MS. An slow moving upper disturbance is centered NE of Dallas tonight and could trigger a squall line for us Saturday.  Timing is uncertain, but the best guess tonight would bring it through between 10 AM & 3 PM .  Sunday should be drier with more sunshine for Mother's Day.   There are no signs of a return to near record heat during the next 7-14 days.  In fact, another front is coming for late Tuesday or early Wednesday bringing less humid air back.  At this time of the year, "cold" fronts aren't really cold anymore but the drier air allows the nights to be more pleasant.  Enjoy your weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms including Dorothy, my Mom up in Hammond, Indiana.  It is a difficult weekend for my sons who lost their Mom over 10 years ago.
