Batten Down For Isaac...

This morning's satellite loops clearly show a better organized storm that should become a Hurricane shortly and it's now apparent that he will not make a radical turn to the north.  What that means is that most of SE LA/MS will feel the brunt of the storm.  The window is leave is still open, but will close later this afternoon as the rain squalls and stronger winds arrive.  NHC indicates Isaac will be a Cat. 1 at landfall, but with such low pressure, I would not be surprised to see rapid intensification as it approaches the coast.  The longer it remains a Tropical Storm the better as Isaac will begin to interact with land late tonight into Wednesday.  Will update blog as new info becomes available.   Hunker down, make sure you've cleaned up all objects around your yard that might become flying missles because after 2 PM things will deteriate quickly. Stay tuned!

Why are we still on this rapid intensification belief? Do you still believe Isaac will become a Cat3 or Cat4? Just don't get it. If NHC had said this you would be tearing them apart on this blog.
