Let it Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...

The weather pattern is a changing with the 1st of several major storms getting ready to give parts of the country a White Christmas.  Storm 1 is heading into the Rockies tonight making the ski folks happy with 1-2 feet of new powder.  This storm has blizzard warnings up for portions of the plains and could produce some severe weather ahead of a cold front from the Ohio Valley down to the Gulf coast.  We'll warm up ahead of the front and chill down once behind it.  Friday & Saturday mornings should see freezing temps on the N-Shore with 35-40 degrees south.  The chill won't last long as another warm up begins Saturday continuing into Christmas Day. Highs here will top 70+ before the next storm plows thru on Wednesday.  Storm # 2 will be stronger & at a lower latitude (closer to us) and likely to trigger another round of severe storms across the Gulf South.   The snow to our north may not be that far from us next week.  Stay tuned!
