Could you tell me what the line that past through the halo was? It was a big line that went from the southwest at about 7:00 mark and moved north, and exited about the 1:00 mark of the halo. I have pictures. It was really neat to watch.
Terre'...it was probably an airplane condensation trail (contrail) which are ice crystals too.
