Gloom is Gone...

Wow, 4 straight days without sunshine.  Add in cold temps with high humidity and we endured a miserable stretch of January weather.  But the reason we live down south and put up with 5 months of 90 degree daily heat is simple...we don't have to shovel humidity!   Plus, the cold doesn't last but a few days before we're back into the 60s or 70s.  Since it has rained 9 out of the last 11 days, we need a long stretch of dry weather and that's just what is coming.  No rain for the next 6-7 days!  We'll see a slow warming trend thru Sunday, a brief cooldown for Monday & Tuesday and another warm up next week.  Yea we missed the snow that fell in Mississippi this morning.  That's why folks head to the Rockies at this time of the year.  They call it skiing.  Like the special man would often say..."let 'em have it!"
