Mississippi Snow?

The "Deep South" seldom gets the opportunity to see snow.   Thursday may be one of those days(at least in the early AM) where some of the white stuff actually covers the ground for a few hours.  Best chances for that happening are north of the LA/MS state line, more like from McComb-Tylertown-Hattiesburg  northeastward into Alabama.  Some folks on the far North Shore might see some flakes but our air temps will stay above freezing so nothing will stick.  The big news locally on Thursday will be the return of the sun after 4 straight days without it.  Better yet, we should have 5-7 days of dry weather after receiving rain 9 out of the last 11 days.    Highs should slowly warm into the 60s by Saturday but another cold blast arrives on Monday.   Keep the coats handy as morning lows on Friday look to be below freezing on both sides of the Lake.
