Warning...High Flood Potential Thursday PM

It's not often that I ask you to pay attention to the weather, but tomorrow may well be one of those days.  NWS has us under a Flood Watch as a slow moving upper storm lifts out of Texas to the Great Lakes.  That will bring a weak cold front into our part of the state, but it appears the front will not have enough push to make it all the way to our east.  My concern is the "training effect" developing with heavy rain storms running over the same track.  It all depends where that track ends up.  If it's over us, our possible 1-3" of additional rainfall could turn into 4-6" or 6-10".  Regardless, Thursday is one of those days you need to keep up with the weather BEFORE you leave the house or your work.   Street flooding is very likely as our pumping capacity is only 1" the 1st hour and 1/2" per hour after that.  Stay tuned!
