Another Nor'Easter...

While the south begins the transition from Winter to Spring, the North remains locked up in cold & snow with yet another major storm likely to shut down travel from D.C. to Boston. There will be breaks to this pattern of storms, but for the next 10-14 days, the Ground Hog's prediction (Spring around the corner) looks pretty stupid for the folks up north.  These storms are bringing much needed moisture, especially to the Plains, so there is some good coming from this pattern.  Are we done with the possibility of  freezes? No way!  In fact, the rule of thumb is...plant your tomatoes after March 15th...BUT, be prepared to cover them as we can get frost/lt. freeze thru about April 1st.   I will probably start cleaning up my yard this weekend as I'm ready for warmer air.  70s will be back Sat. & Sunday.    Stay tuned!
