Warmest in Over 4 Months...

Today's high soared to 83 (record is 89 !) making this the warmest day since Nov. 3rd of 2012 when we hit 84. Flowers are blooming, trees are budding & T-Storms are firing along the battle zone of Winter cold and Spring Warmth. For the next 6-8 weeks, we will be in the heart of severe weather season over the Gulf south. Tonight's T-Storms will be staying to our north and east, but the next opportunity for severe weather may come this weekend when another strong cold front approaches late Saturday into early Palm Sunday. It's too early to tell for sure that we'll get stormy, but based on computer models, the next upper energy will be farther to the south and closer to us.

In the short term, cooler and drier air will filter in behind several weak cool fronts. You'll notice the different feel in the air on Tuesday & Wednesday maybe lasting into Thursday. By Friday the muggies are back along with our rain chances. Stay tuned!
