April Showers Bring May...Ah You Know What !

Several lines of heavy storms are approaching from the Gulf & from eastern Texas tonight.  It appears almost certain that Wednesday will see 100% rain coverage (not raining 100% of the time) with amounts generally 1-3".  Since it has been over 5 weeks since our last 1"+ rainfall, the ground should soak this up nicely.  However, if amounts start to top 1-2"/hour, we could see some street flooding.   Hopefully we'll see some breaks between downpours so the pumps can keep up.  Don't expect much improvement on Thursday as we have to wait for an upper low pass to our north & east.  Sunshine returns for Friday thru the weekend with 80 degree warmth back by Sunday PM.
