Flood Watch For Potential Heavy Rains...

A slow moving cold front will bring us several rounds of heavy rainfall during the next 48 hours.  NWS has issued a Flood Watch for Friday & Saturday with the possibility of 2-4" total rainfall.   It appears the heaviest will be on the North shore on Friday shifting back to the South Shore on Saturday.  It should be noted that 2 of our worst floods (1978 & 1995) happened in early May when a cold front stalled creating a "training effect" of T-Storms for many hours.   Not sure that will happen but we'll need to pay attention to the weather until this front staggers off the LA. coast early Sunday morning.   Mother's Day PM should be drier.
