Usual January Chill

Historically, Jan. 11-17th is the coldest week of the year on average.  Doesn’t mean it can’t be colder in December or February, but rather averaged over a 30+ year period, the coldest air is more likely during this week.   Today was chilly, but with proper clothing, the bright sunshine felt rather nice this afternoon.  Another front is coming for Friday morning, but ahead of it will be a brief & rapid warm up Thursday afternoon.  Highs should reach the mid 60s with not a lot of wind.   North wind return for Friday, but will return to the west on Saturday bringing us a warmer weekend.  Rain chances will be slim to none with the front early Friday with your weekend being dry.  The real nasty weather will stay over the Great Lakes & Northeast.  If you have travel plans up there, bring the heavy weather gear.
