April to End Chilly...

Our weather in the short term for the Zurich Golf Classic & the 1st weekend of JazzFest looks to be almost ideal...warm but not hot...lots of clouds but little or no rain.  Computer models are indicating a warming trend through the weekend as highs climb into the 80s, but a slow moving upper disturbance is likely to park itself over the SE early next week bringing a wet & nasty cold end to the month of April.  Our highs here on Wednesday could stay in the 60s if we remain stuck in clouds.  We might have to deal with some T-Storms late Monday into Tuesday so stayed tuned!

An interesting fact today on The Weather Channel.   Dr. Greg Forbes mentioned that we have not recorded a death from a tornado this year.  This marks the latest date to go without a fatality plus we have not had a major tornado (EF3 or higher) yet.  Last year was way below normal or average regarding the # of tornadoes nationwide & this year is even quieter.  I remember the Alarmists after Huntsville & Joplin screaming Global Warming was responsible for the outbreaks & their severity.   Hummm...now AGW is responsible for the lack of storms...weather extremes.   Could it be just a downward CYCLE?
