Weekend could turn wet?

Yea...I know last night I was saying a mostly dry weekend, and I still think it will be. However, tonight's VIPIR model run really increased rain chances for Friday PM as a weak frontal boundary stalls along the northern Gulf coast. VIPIR also paints in showers on Sunday when our other computer models do not. I hate to fence sit so, until I see some evidence to the contrary, I'm going against VIPIR and downplaying the rain chances for this weekend. Next week is a different story as a strong cold front triggers the possibility for severe storms late Monday. In the short term, Thursday should have no issues.
