Sometimes You Need To be Lucky...

At this time of the year I always feel sorry for those Krewes that get rained on.  Many people work very hard for weeks & months to get everything perfect for their parade, but mother nature is beyond their control.   This year most parades have rolled without any rain issues and that will continue for Saturday & Sunday.  Saturday will be the best day as highs should climb to near 70.  A weak front will cool Sunday’s highs to 59-63, but rain chances start to increase after midnight into early Monday as that front stalls and retreats back to the north.  Some showers will be around Monday morning with many dry hours during the afternoon.  Rain chances increase again after dark, especially after midnight.    Monday’s temps will be mild (60s) turning colder before dawn on Fat Tuesday.  Mardi Gras looks dreary.  A cold rain (40s) will hang around thru midday before diminishing late.  Strong north winds will bring in Arctic cold that will make it feel like it’s in the 20s & 30s.   There is no sugar coating it.  Unless something changes,  Mardi Gras 2015 could be just as miserable as 2014.   Boo.  Enjoy Saturday !   Stay tuned!
