Models Called It...

Last night I mentioned how the computer models were indicating higher rain chances today even though I could see nothing on our satellite loops to valid that forecast.   Tonight I’m seeing another surge of moisture heading out of the Gulf with what appears to be a weak disturbance moving from Texas in the SW upper flow.  Wouldn’t you know it, the latest computer run keeps Saturday mostly dry!   I can’t see that happening once you add in daytime heating to the mix.   I would expect another active day of showers & T-Storms with locally heavy downpours.   Sunday should see fewer storms with even fewer next week.   Enjoy your weekend as there will be many dry hours between the stormy periods.
