Dreaming of a White Christmas? Forget About It!

I know many folks will be traveling to be with family this week so I really don’t like to see the threat of freezing precipitation putting a crimp in plans.  That is not an issue in most places this week as temperatures are not just above freezing, but nearing record warmth.  Morning fog could affect early travel, but unless you’re heading out west, ice won’t be a problem.   Locally, we could see some high temperature record fall if we break out into any kind of sunny breaks.    Highs will flirt with 80 for the next 5-6 days.  Before all the cold air folks get totally depressed, there are signs that the 1st week in January will bring us some real Arctic Chill for the 1st time this season.    Until then…it’s shorts & flip-flops.  Enjoy!

Merry Christmas to you and your family Bob...I hope its a joyous one.

Yeah this Fall and Winter has been a major disappointment...just have to be patient...I really like the cool fronts where its around 60 during the day and 40 at night...and that it last more than 3 days.....Just have to crank up the A/C this year...
