Warm Pattern Coming to End...

Parades begin again on Wednesday and weather will be no problem…IF you are dressed for it.   After 5 straight days of highs 70+, the reality that’s it’s still February (Winter) will settle in with highs on Wednesday staying in the 60s with the rest of the week remaining in the 50s.  That means it’ll be in the 40s at night, but DRY!   A weak upper system will bring a slight chance for a shower after dark on Saturday, but the main issue will be the chillier air.   Mardi Gras may see another blast of Arctic air that could keep highs in the 40s with brisk north winds making it feel like the 30s.    But it should stay dry.    It certainly will not be as nice as last weekend’s warm spell, but after tonight’s down pours, our rain chances over the next 7 days look slim to none.     Let’s hope the coming cold spell will not be as brutal as models indicate tonight.   Stay tuned!
