The End is Really near...

First off, Yes I will continue doing my weather blog after I retire.   It may not be as often.   I will keep you posted as to where my life will take me.   Tomorrow is my final goodbye and I intend to appear on every News program to say my farewell, or more correctly, to plug my final farewell on our 10 PM news.   As my golfing partner, World Series hero Ron Swoboda tells me…”this has been the longest retirement journey he has ever seen.  Retire already!”   And I will.

To send me off, the weather will co-operate as tonight’s showers and cold front will be long gone and Wednesday should see all day sunshine.   What a way to go out…let the sun shine on !

Hey Bob--I just read the nice piece about you on NOLA.com and wanted to wish you a great retirement. I really knew you when...way long ago when I was the TV critic at the Dayton Journal Herald.
