Not yet Matthew,,,but soon

Satellite loops are showing what appears to be an organizing tropical system just east of Barbados.  NHC says the Hurricane Hunters were out today but could not find a closed circulation, but it’s only a matter of time.  The news continues to be good for us regarding future track of whatever forms.  All computer models keep soon to be  Matthew east of Florida and never getting into the Gulf.  A cut off upper low over the eastern states will bring us cooler and drier air later this week as our first real cold front moves through.  That front will be off the east coast over the weekend and provide an avenue/weakness for Matthew to head northward staying far from us.   We will have the best of both worlds…no tropical threats plus much drier and less hot air with some 50s North Shore and 60s south of Lake P.   OMG do I love October!

On a side note, went fishing for the first time since the Tarpon Rodeo (been too hot) and we (Capt. Hylton & I) had a great 2 day trip.  83 good size trout.   Fry ‘em, grill ‘em, bake ‘em,   I love fresh trout!
