Celine Is Class, Better Post 50

After watching JoLo during the Super Bowl halftime, I was amazed to learn she was 50.  Well last night at the Smoothie King Center, Celine Dion looked remarkable at age 51 and sounded just as great as when she was younger.

Her latest release is called Courage, a tribute to her late husband and all those who have supported her during this time of grieving.  Greatness can't go on forever, but Celine certainly is no where near done.

The super cold (40-50 below zero) remains trapped over Alaska & northern Canada with no signs of it coming our way during the next 7-10 days.  It's seasonally chilly across the northern tier of states with enough chill down south to see some flakes in Atlanta.   Another dip in the upper jet stream is coming to the Rockies and that will bring back the SW upper flow (wet) for much of next week.   There is the potential for 5-8" of rain across Arkansas and Mississippi into northern Alabama and that will not help our high water on the Mississippi River.  In fact, 2-3 foot rises on the Ohio will insure our river levels remain high into March.

We are heading into way above normal temps for the next 4 days before our next cold front arrives on Thursday.   We will likely see several rainy periods beginning on Monday with the better chances for storms coming late Wednesday into Thursday.  For many the focus will be on parade weather as we lead up to Mardi Gras.  Stay tuned!
