Cool November...Much Colder December?

I have mentioned several times before...IF the upper tough over the east continues into December & January, we could see 1) a hard freeze south of Lake P. and 2) maybe some snow?
# 2 is less likely but # 1 sure looks very likely as the longer range computer models keep bringing fronts down through the Gulf South. Our next front will sweep by early on Thursday with some showers and a little thunder in the morning. Brisk north winds will usher in much colder air for Thursday night & Friday with a slight warm up on Saturday before another weak front arrives on Sunday. Yet an even stronger cold front approaches on Tuesday with some potential for severe weather and more cold air following it. Now is the time to prepare your house and gardens for many freezes during the next 2-3 months. Remember, the potential for hard (pipe busting) freezes on the Southshore runs from December 15th thru Feb. 15th. Geez, I'm ready for Spring !

I like cool weather like we had Dec. 3rd. I hate the frigid air we're feeling now. Spring sounds good right about now.
