Heaviest Rains Staying East...

Satellite & Radar loops continue to show the Gulf surface low is drifting almost due northward. That motion will bring it to the coast somewhere between BIX & MOB. Since 80% of the rainfall is north & east of the circulation, that will leave only a few passing showers here overnight and some daytime heating storms on Saturday. NWS is calling for 80% which is probably OK on coverage, but there will be many sunny breaks and dry periods through out the day. As the low moves northward and farther away, rain chances should be less on Sunday & Monday.

Unfortunately, any trip eastward to the beaches will increase your chance for getting wet. Stay here and enjoy the weekend!
