A Rainy Night...Slight Cool Down.

A weak area of low pressure is moving along the Gulf Coast to our south. It's brought an extensive rain shield but it's much needed rain and so far it's not been excessive. An upper low lingers back to our west and that will keep us in clouds and some leftover showers on Tuesday. Slightly colder air will follow for Wed. & Thurs., but sunshine will return for the rest of this week. We do not expect freezing temperatures on the Southshore for the next 7-10 days, but the Northshore could see a light freeze Wed. , Thurs., & Friday mornings. Our next rain threat could approach late Sunday into Monday. The models seem to keep the core of the cold well to our north during this last week of January. Even those poor folks up in the Northeast will warm some!
