Wetter Week Ahead...

After a very hot holiday weekend, the upper ridge causing the lack of widespread daily showers has retreated back over the central Plains. In addition, a broad upper low covers the northern & central Gulf. That should result in more rain coverage for the rest of this week keeping our temperatures less hot. Wind shear still rules the tropics along with Saharan dust coming off of Africa so it's unlikely to see anything for the next 5-7 days. One model tries to form something east of Florida for next week moving up off the East Coast. Long live da shear !
