Emily Engages Shear...Adios # 5

Satellite loops show the center of Trop. Depression Emily completely exposed at midday. NHC indicates she'll probably be reduced to just a remnant low later today as she heads away from the U.S. East coast. None of the computer models brings any storm/hurricane threat into the Gulf during the next 7-10 days. It's unlikely this quiet stretch in the Tropics will last beyond August 20th, but each week means we're closer to those Fall cold fronts. Stay tuned!
