Beryl Big Rainmaker...

Remember T.S. Lee last year?  Slow mover, stayed around for days.  That's what's happening with T.D. Beryl.  She will take all day just to cross southern Georgia.  I'm sure some spots will receive 6-12"+ of rain, but that's OK since many locations there have been 10-15 " below normal for the past year.  This system could be the drought buster they needed without becoming the damaging, flooding storm that causes billions of dollars in loses.   Let's hope so.

Locally, I see no major changes coming until late week when a weak front will get close.  At this time of the year, we don't get colder air with a front, just drier air.  I'm not convinced this front will make it all the way to the Gulf.  Stay tuned.
