IF the models are correct, the core of our newest blast of cold air should stay to our north and east sparring us once again south of the Lake from freezing temps. The North Shore is under a freeze watch for Sunday morning with a warming trend beginning Sunday PM. We could be back above 70 by Monday ahead of our next front on Tuesday. That front will be far weaker than this weekend's cold snap. In fact, most of next week will be in the 70s as a major snowstorm races to our north and brings some much needed moisture to the central plains. We are in the final 10 days of METEOROLOGICAL WINTER. Won't be long before we top 80 ! Enjoy your weekend, but bundle up!
Put my 88 yr. old Mom on your prayer list too. She broke her hip 3 weeks ago & finally left the hospital for a nursing home. Thanks
