Still No Cristobal

NHC sent a plane out to investigate the cluster of storms approaching the Virgin Islands this afternoon and despite the fact they found an ill-defined circulation and wind gusts 45+, they held off on naming it.   However, tonight they increased the probability for formation to 80% which tells me they are very confident Cristobal will form during the next 2-3 days..There is a burst of storms tonight and another AF plane will be out on Friday PM.  Computer models continue to show a path to the NW with a turn to the north away from the Gulf.   Way too soon to know who will be threatened.  Stay tuned!

Locally, an upper high should mean fewer storms Friday & Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Rain chances increase for next week.
