Upper Low Over Gulf...

A weak August cool front has dissipated along the coast about 60 miles south of the CBD.   The leftover boundary will likely be the focus for T-Storm development on Thursday with most of us remaining dry.  Winds should turn back off the Gulf on Friday bringing back low level moisture and higher rain chances.   Your weekend should be basic summertime spotty showers...UNLESS...there is a well defined circulation down in the Gulf that is currently an upper level low.  Sometimes in the hottest part of Summer (Now), these slow moving systems can work their way down to the surface and start developing.   We'll need to monitor the Gulf for the next 2-3 days.  Otherwise, the Tropical Atlantic remains quiet.
