The cool, crisp feel to this past weekend was terrific, but big changes are coming this week. We’ll see a rapid warm up on Monday with PM highs climbing back into the 70s and to 80+ on Tuesday. Then the fun starts for you cold weather “freaks”. A cold front will push through early on Wednesday but the cold air will be very shallow allowing for lots of over-running clouds. Usually when that happens, we’re in for a prolonged spell of cloudy, cool days with several rainy periods. In fact, some locally heavy rains could develop for late week into next weekend. Ala in all, after our brief 2 day warm up, the next 10-14 days look rather chilly where highs might not get out of the 50s. It could be worse as folks up north from Memphis thru the Ohio Valley could get a pre-Thanksgiving snow! I’ll be watching to see how deep the east coast trough gets since below zero temps will plunge over the northern plains later this week. Stay tuned!
