Another Nor'Easter

I have often mentioned that weather patterns get locked in for months at a time.  Sometimes the pattern gets locked in for multiple seasons.  What appears to be taking shape for this Winter is the repeat track for major East Coast storms.    What is so interesting is the lack of rain across the South at a time when we should be seeing increased southern stream activity.  This week the southern stream will be forced way to our south as a huge east coast trough redevelops.  Perhaps early next week we’ll see the southern stream storm track get going bringing our best widespread rain chances in several months.

In the short term, Tuesday should be another terrific December day with bright sunshine & comfy PM temps after a chilly start.  Another cold surge arrives after dark making for a chilly Wednesday & Thursday.
