One Weekend at a Time...

As parades kick off in full force this weekend, along with Metairie’s Family Gras, Mother Nature apparently will cooperate keeping them dry with a warming trend.  With a fairly persistent deep East Coast trough showing no signs of leaving during the next 10-14 days, we could actually see the same time of weather for next weekend’s parades.   The big question is…what happens if the trough deepens?   Whether it does or not, the chances for widespread rainfall will stay slim to none with only the  degree of how cold yet to be determined.

In the short term, Saturday morning could see some frost, especially on the North Shore , but bright sunshine should make for a rapid warm up with very pleasant temps (65-70) for the afternoon and 70+ on Sunday.  Come see the little fella introduce the  Beach Boys at Family Gras Saturday night at 6 PM.
