VIPIR Be Right

Again tonight our VIPIR model is more aggressive on bringing a cold front through late Friday and moving it far enough offshore so we get into slightly cooler and drier air for Saturday and much of Sunday.   NWS has our rain chances at 80% for Friday, &0% for Saturday and 60% for Sunday.   IF VIPIR is right, Saturday will only see a few showers along the coast with showers not moving back northward until late Sunday PM.   The location of the frontal boundary will determine whether our weekend is mostly dry or will it go into the dumper.    There is still a heavy rain potential (1-3”) with the front Friday PM into night.    Stay tuned!
