Wash the car...

Did you ever think about this?  Seems every time you get your car washed, it rains shortly thereafter.    We need our daily showers to keep us from getting so hot.  I’m going to the car wash tomorrow.  We’ll see if that helps!   Also, did you ever see when you say something like I did last night about NHC and the system off the east coast?  Bud da boom, Trop. Storm Claudette formed well east of the Carolinas.   My thinking about no named storms for the rest of July has changed as very well defined upper systems are rotating around a blocking high over the southern plains.  One of these disturbances could rotate out over the Gulf or off the Florida coast during the next 7-14 days and possibly develop, much like what happened in August of 1983.   Hurricane Alicia developed south of the LA/MS coasts and moved westward under a blocking upper high.  The storm quickly strengthened into a Cat. 3 hurricane and battered downtown Houston.  Could Danny be just around the corner?

And did you see the news story about British researchers finding the sun’s output decreasing and we could enter a solar minimum shortly?  They even mentioned “global cooling”.   Prediction…watch the PR machine go into full gear with stories bashing these researchers since the Alarmist’s claims that CO2/man  is the driver of climate change & not the sun.  Should be fun to watch.  Stayed tuned!

Yesterday while heading to Williams Blvd on I-10 we got a brief shower....not that was a dark cloud over us as sunshine prevailed....but it wasn't enough rain to even cool the car off....

Been going for my morning walk and each morning there are no clouds on the sky....thinking its going to be a hot day....

Even the pool is a bit crispy these days.

I have heard the lack of sunspots from the sun for a few years now....which may be part of the reason for the global cooling. It could also be why the north has been going thru mini ice age these past winters with all the snowfall....

Thankfully they have been no hurricanes here although the heart of the season is coming....
