Cubs Win, Cubs Win, Holy Cow!

Alright so I’m not in sports, but never in my 68+ years on this Planet have I seen my Cubs (grew up in NW Indiana) get into the World Series.   Yep, last time was 1945 (they lost) and I was born in 1947.  Not that they’re in yet, but tonight was the 2nd step.   Come along and enjoy the ride Cub’s Fans.  It’s good for baseball.

A weak front brought about 5 showers today.  Most of us stayed dry and the pattern is set up to remain “oh for October” into next week.  Another front arrives on Saturday, but it will be moisture starved with no rain.   Computer models keep hinting on low pressure forming over the southern Gulf next week (heard that before?) and some moisture heading our way late Tuesday into Wed-Thursday.   We need some rain but “when in drought, leave it out”.  Enjoy out great October weather.
