Facing 3 Peat This Weekend...

We are still several days away so lots could change, but there is the possibility we could see our 3rd straight weekend of wet weather.  A western storm system will drag a cold front our way.  Unlike last weekend, the main energy with this storm should lift well to our north.  That means the front will have less push and will likely stall near us Saturday night into Sunday.    That could allow a weak disturbance to move up along the front bringing some showers back on Sunday.  Boo!    Still great uncertainty 4-5 days out, but another weekend that could be lost weather-wise.

Computer models are hinting that in the 10-14 days out, the east coast trough will return bringing much colder air to the Great Lakes & down to the Gulf South.  We’re talking sweater weather here, maybe some 30s North Shore?    That would not be anything extreme as our record lows on the South Shore are now below freezing so history shows it has happened before.  Stay tuned!
