Another Front Coming With Storms...

I’ve been loving this pattern of fronts coming every 3-4 days as we don’t get too warm yet and the longer days & higher sun angle means we don’t get real cold.  Folks up north continue to deal with snow & cold as the Yankees were SNOWED OUT on opening day.  Several more systems are predicted during the next 7-10 before the second half of April starts to warm up.   For us, that should mean a more summer like feel as we head towards May, but that’s what usually happens.  We still can see cool fronts in May but they usually just mean less humid air.   Timing on this next front will bring showers & T-Storms through us after dark, mainly between midnight & 6 AM.  SPC (Storm prediction Center) has us in a slight risk with the bullseye for severe storms centered from Memphis to Cincinnati where the upper level energy will be the greatest.  Behind the front cooler & drier air will be around for Wednesday & Thursday with a warm up returning by Friday.  Another front looks to arrive by Sunday as we’re in a very progressive pattern.  That’s good since it should mean front will keep moving and not stall over us.  We have seen some of our worst flood events in the months of April & May.   Stay tuned!
