Low In Northern Gulf...

A quick midday update as radar loops are clearly showing a low level circulation due east of the mouth of the River and south of Pensacola.   Buoys are not showing pressure falls and that’s probably why NHC isn’t mentioning it.  However, it is over some of the warmest waters of the Gulf and there is always the potential of a quick spin up as it approaches us late tonight and on Tuesday.   Regardless of whether it develops, we’re likely to see widespread rain totals of 2-4” with some spots exceeding 5” by Tuesday night.   The highest rain chances will be after dark tonight into late Tuesday evening.  The 4th of July should see fewer showers.  Stay tuned!
