No One Should be Surprised, The Cold will be Shocking...

In November we are SUPPOSED to turn colder so what is coming tomorrow night & this weekend is fairly typical.  What will make it feel so much colder is our recent warm spell that has us feeling summer-like.  Our bodies need time to acclimate to colder weather, but that won’t happen as we have 2 cold surges heading our way.  The first arrives after daybreak on Friday with the second, and stronger blast coming Monday night into Tuesday.  We’ll start in the 70s on Friday falling into the 50s before dark.  Saturday & Sunday will struggle to get out of the 50s.  Monday might sneak into the 60s early before the bottom drops out and highs on Tuesday might not get out of the 40s!   Add in strong north winds and it’ll feel like it’s in the 20s.    Are you ready for some football weather?   NOAA has said this Winter overall will average above normal.  That is direct opposite of Weather Bell Analytics which is calling for way below normal for most of the SE including us.   It will be interesting to see if this coming cold pattern will be 7-10 days or might last for the rest of this month?    Stay tuned!

All right, I’ve been begging for donations for over a week and I did pick up another 9 donors yesterday for the fundraiser to support the Children’s Advocacy Center’s MEN WHO COOK event this Sunday.  I’m just $1,195 short of my $3,000 goal.   If only 239 folks pledge $5, I make it.  Or if only 60 pledge $20, I’m there.    Again I ask for your support.  Thank you to the 70+ who have already donated.  Here’s the link;
