It's not too late to sign up to watch Jim Cantore on Today's Podcast. In fact, you can always go back and watch other podcasts from past guests and more future guests will be coming. But to see Jim talk about his career and hurricane experiences is priceless. Just go to bobbreck.com and sign up for $2/month.
During the Winter months, this podcast will have guests from my past plus guests that you suggest to me. It'll be your podcast, seeing people you want to see and hear about. For now, it's still about hurricanes & Tropical Weather. I've circled several spots to watch, but none will affect us. Obviously, Tropical Storm Jerry is the one to watch.
The Gulf is covered in dry air with an upper low ahead of Jerry near Haiti & the Dominican Republic. The Gulf disturbance is already moving inland, so no impacts here.
The only other system will not be totally tropics, but more of a hybrid system this weekend for the Northeast.
Both the Euro & GFS have a strong low for Monday off of Long Island. That will just help bring us a dry weekend. But back to Jerry.
The NHC track continues to turn him away from any land areas, just like most storms this season. No model has any tropical threats in the Caribbean or Gulf for the next 7-10 days. My call is in to the "Fat Lady" to come sing.
A weak cool front is coming, but the cooler air will be felt mainly at night.
This front is not going to blast through. We'll notice it more on Thursday night.
We have a few showers around ahead of the front. Still topped 90 again today.
We are in for a nice stretch of Fall October weather the next few days. Again, come join Cantore on my podcast today. Stay tuned!
