Sorry Once Again, Chicago Snow Storm, Bravo Buckeyes

Bowling Green started at 26 this morning, so you know I wasn't going outside.  My grandson Ethan talked me into playing the board game SORRY.  He trashed me yesterday, and I was determined to do better. Well, despite a closer game (4-3), Ethan still beat Pops.

Do you know how my adult ego suffered losing to a six-year-old?!!!  Yeah, he's my grandson, but c'mon, I didn't let him win on purpose.  He beat Pops fair & square.  To say I'm feeling sorry doesn't come close to my feelings.  I'm just sorry I'm not in Chicago, where my sister (Carol) sent me these pictures while she was taking her daughter to the train station.

And to think they are still in November!  I am NOT sorry I'm not there!  This is a fast-moving snowstorm that has rain along the southern edges.  Today's warm-up will be brief as colder air is coming back.

This snowstorm comes at a bad time, as many folks are trying to get back home after the big holiday.

Another surge of Arctic air is heading into the northern states.

Ahead of this next front, we could see some showers locally.  Tonight's rains have been mainly to our north. We have touched 70+ this afternoon while most of Kentucky is in the 40s.

It looks to be a chilly week for NOLA, not half as chilly as Ann Arbor tonight!  You knew it had to end sometime as UM has beaten the Buckeyes 5 straight years.  Today, OSU had the more physical, more experienced & talented team.  They deserved to win, and so congrats.  I hope the Saints are looking at that team for players to draft.  No more Northern Iowa or Texas at San Antonio guys.  Tomorrow ends the 2025 hurricane season.  More on that tomorrow.  Stay tuned!
